Celebrating Heroes from History – Two Plays for Young Audiences
“Tomás and the Library Lady”
“Escape to Freedom: A Play about Young Frederick Douglass”
Friday and Saturday, March 2 & 3 – 7 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday, March 3 & 4 – 2 p.m.
Freedlander Theatre

“Tomás and the Library Lady,” adapted by José Cruz Gonzalez from the book by Pat Mora, and “Escape to Freedom: A Play about Young Frederick Douglass,” by Ossie Davis, will be performed March 2 & 3 at 7 p.m. and March 3 & 4 at 2 p.m., in Freedlander Theatre (329 E. University St.) at The College of Wooster. Both plays will be directed by Jimmy Noriega. General admission tickets are $9. Tickets for faculty, staff, and non-College of Wooster students as well as senior citizens are $6.
